Few Notes
First there must be said that the sail is not integrated to the upper hull so some tiny part action there starting up to securely place it. Next the kit supplies a diving top with the periscope, esm, radar secured. While not daunting would recommend something like the Akula for a first time if you are more perfectionist, like a 2nd sub there are challenges for the impatient. Detailing is easy on this kit for other flight I type 688's, or no demo flight II, not possible without good bit work patching to replicate a flight III but i could see it done. Overall great kit will enjoy it as a little gem.

the kit is super simple. 2 piece hull, one piece conning tower that will need 2 sail planes and a choice of scopes up or down. after that paint and decal and she is done a good looking sub.
Good Los Angeles class sub
Simple kit with only a few parts. Good for kids. Parts fit well, and you can do periscopes up or down. Decals don't fit so well in grooves, even with softner, but not too bad.
