easy typhoon

This kit has very few parts all of them fit well except the front dive planes which on mine are extended didn't fit quit right due to the slots in the hull being a little out of alignment , However the planes will still go in the slots but will be tight. The impellers had a tendency to droop while the glue was drying. The rear dive planes were a little tricky due to my droopy impellers. The detail on the hull is excellent and you are given various options like mast up or down dive planes extended or not. The only option it idn't have was a open missile hatch. all in all a typical hobby boss kit excellent as usual.
Simple, Fun, Detailed - What's Not to Love?

This is a great little kit, period. The kit itself is simple enough for a kid to slap together in 10 minutes, but detailed enough for an experienced pro to make it shine. Both kid and pro will have fun. The price is just great - for six dollars, you get a complete kit that is a deeply satisfying build of a distinctive ship. As an added bonus, there is a pre-labeled display stand in the box. Assemble and display right away! My son is nearly old enough to start modeling with me; I'm thinking of buying a few of these kits that we can build together.
Good kit, great price, fantastic ship

This is a well-priced kit, and despite its size, looks GREAT when painted and assembled. I was so happy with mine, I ordered two more to make sister ships.
Red october

Huge sub, pretty similar to Red October form the movie. Very different shape form US subs. Fun. Painting the waterline stripe is pretty tricky.
Simple, good.

I like this model of submarine because of the movie The Hunt for Red October. Submarines are not complicated, but it still looks great.
