HobbyBoss CH-46E HMM 261 'Raging Bulls'
This is your typical HobbyBoss kit. Easy to build, some fit issues, little detail and questionable or non existent paint guide. Something like 61 parts make up this kit and the fit is generally good. The biggest issues for parts fit for me was the clear piece for the cockpit that is slightly oversized and while the top is flush with the fuselage, the bottom has a slight lip. the rear hatch is meant to be posed open and if you want it closed some sanding/filing is necessary. I decided to close mine due to lack of detail and fictional seats in the troop bay. The instructions in my boxing had no color callouts for any area of the interior. The decals go and set down easy but I had to source the stars & bars from a Fujimi kit because the kit ones are not correct in design or color for this camo scheme. All in all, if you want an easy, quick build CH-46 kit, I recommend this kit to all.
