Been building WW2 aircraft models since the mid sixties. Hobby Boss's approach is unique. Upper and lower halves. Wings are complete already. Few parts. Very fast assembly. Fits well with very little flash. Just enough detail to satisfy in this small scale. I wish other companies would give the same relief on canopy rails. Very easy to paint the rails toothpick style and get an excellent result. Mine came out nice using aftermarket decals to portray a Midway Marine fighter. Great for a beginner or a quicky for advanced modelers.

Great value for the money. By no means the most accurate but close enough for gov't work! With aftermarket decals & some research the European & experimental camo versions can be built at this price point. Love how Hobbyboss packages even their inexpensive kits!! Excellent weekender build!

First model I've built in a long time. This one is a good one for some beginners. Directions were fairly simple and easy to follow. Had a good time building and will start painting soon.

Easy build kit. Great detail. Be careful and dry fit parts. Hobby Boss makes great kits for weekend or novice builders.

Good little kit for the money. Not alot of extras, but what can you expect for the low price.
