The fact that this is the only 1/48 scale kit of this plane on the market makes it a winner. The fact that it is really well produced makes it even better. The big picture details are spot on. There are difficulties in assembly that might be a bit challenging for inexperienced models and some minor detail inaccuracies that kept me from giving it a five star rating. It is a pretty big aircraft when fully assembled. The kit comes with decals for both prototype aircraft in the ATF flyoff. Even with a few fit problem to fix, it builds up to a beautiful finished project. It is well worth the price!

Purchased this kit from my local hobby store. This kit was the first model that I purchased in over 10 years. Overall the kit was fairly easy to build. The only fit issues I had was the two fuselage halves (which sandwich together). Instructions were easy to follow. The instructions call for a weight that fits into the nose of the aircraft. If you don't get one you will have the nose point upward and the back of the model touching the surface.

I always wonder about the road not traveled, so I was happy when I came across this kit. It's just basically cockpit, fuselage, wings and tail. Throw in some simple, yet sturdy landing gear. Don't forget to add weight to the nose. Decals are minimal, and there's no weapons bays.

Nice model to build if you have not been around building models in a while. Very clean and simple. Instructions very easy to read and understand. Not much to trim or sand or fill. Very simple to build. Decals were good also.
