HobbyBoss 1/35 Soviet BA-20 Armored Car Mod. 1939
This kit makes a good rendition of the BA-20M Armored Car M1939 (without the hull radio framework). Although it is missing the external whip-style radio antenna mount, one from a T-34/76 is almost identical, and was generally mounted on the upper left-hand side of the vehicle in the rear corner area. The standard BA-20 M1939 still utilized the hull frame antenna with the engine hood cowl area wiring outlet, were the small circular flap is located on the model. Although of somewhat simplistic design, it is nicely detailed. There are some delicate parts to apply caution in removal from their parts trees. Overall, the kit is good quality and nicely detailed, and I would recommend it to those that like armored cars.
