Very good, use with care
This is the BSI cyanoacrylate glue that's often branded to various retail outlets. It's very good stuff and works great. Most of us plastic modelers use extra thin plastic cement, but the CA glue is very handy for items that are not plastic, such as metal, fabric, resin, skin from your fingers...you get the idea. And that last one was serious, you have to be careful with this stuff because it sets quickly and will stick anything together. The good news is that being super thin, it will seep into grooves for gluing the same way thin plastic cement uses capillary action; the bad news is that it can also run everywhere else if you put too much on. So I like to put a drop of it on a small piece of wax paper, then apply from there using the Flex-i-file CA glue applicator; much safer. If you get this, I would also consider a few other products: 1) get some CA debonder too, as it will save you from accidents where you glue stuff you didn't mean to. 2) The aforementioned Flex-i-file CA glue applicator will allow you to cleanly apply the super thin glue. 3) Extra bottle tips (type 312) and caps help because old CA glue can gum up the nozzle and when that happens it's a lot easier to replace the nozzle for a buck than to try and save it or cut it up and make it easier for air to contaminate the rest of the bottle. All of the above can be found at Hobbylinc.
Just what I needed.
This is what I was looking for. When they say thin they mean thin. It flows great and works great. Hold the parts together add a drop of this and done. If you have never used this glue, well it is very thin and it runs. Just saying that because you could get glue where you do not want it. But it works great. I was changing the dog house on the 57 rio wagon with the 58 edsel dog house, and used some flat styrene to mate them together and it worked like a charm. Cannot wait to try it on other projects.
Good and thin
This CA is a very good one. This is specially thin, so it goes inside any little crack. This is a Pro. A Con is that it spreads easy out so you need a firm hand to work with it. If you use a Cyanoacrylate tip attached to the tip of the bottle, it will be much easy to work with. Very recomendable, but remember it flows easyly so it is not for all the labours. It dries fast, fast. Be careful.
Glue
Really nice glue especially if you want something to bond instantly Extremely quick to dry. Most important thing is to keep the tips clean. It's hard to keep the tips clean and want to keep going up a glue but if you stay on top of it you're okay I use it for models and love it.It works very, very well.I'm used to the old school testers.Glow which is totally different
Really works!
The instructions read hold the pieces together and apply the glue. It will form an instant bond and boy! They're not kidding! Remember to apply sparingly and carefully or you may wind up with your fingers glued to the parts that you're gluing together. But when nothing else worked on a vintage building I was putting together THIS did! I highly recommend this glue!
When they say Super Thin...
...they ain't joking. Like water. Wets out surfaces/fibers without beading up.
works great
As usual another fantastic product that works awesome!!!
