A CCKW kit thats shows it age.
The Heller/Airfix CCKW is a good kit, but to me, it shows it age. Compared with newer kits, there are several details in the moulding of this truck (the front, e.g.), that seems more like a toy, than an scale model. Unfortunately, other brands dont have a fairly superior cckw kit also. speaking of this kit, the pros: a choice of a soft tilt or machine-gun mount (which is very nicely done), plus a canvas cover or open back. The cons: Bad decals, and what i said before. Otherwise, if you don´t bother too much of the aging that this kit shows, it's OK.

I LIKED THIS LITTLE DUCE & 1/2,,,,,EASY BUILD,,,NICE WEEKEND RAINY DAY JOB,,WENT TOGETHER NICE,,,MY CANVAS COVER WAS WARPED,,SO I HAD TO TAKE CARE OF THAT WITH HOT WATER AND A DISH RAG,...OVER ALL FOR IT'S SCALE SIZE,,A NICE SUBJECT STAIGHT FORWARD IN CONTRUCTION, IF YOU NEED A DUCE FOR A 1/72 DIORAMA ,,,BUILD THIS ONE.
