Overall a pleasant kit! Well engineered. Instructions clear. I made mine box stock, even down to the color call-outs. VERY pleased!
Hood is 2 parts, and has an interesting arrangement - looks like it's supposed to be hinged in the middle on the 1:1 car, but the sides set on. The driver's area is quite interesting...
If you're looking for a slump buster or an easy weekend build, this is your answer!
1st heller kit
This is my 1st Heller kit. Looks good. Did not see any flash ad very little mold lines. The hood is molded in the interior color instead of body color. Has nice detail. Soft rubber tires. Spokes on the rims look better than expected. Scale looks really good also, thought it might have been small looking but it is not. Used the cheaper shipping and it seems it got here faster.
Amazing Model
This was my first Heller model to build. Everything went together quite well. Some of the building step was different that what I was accustomed too, but everything turned out fine.
