Reviews : Hasegawa UH-60A Black Hawk

My first 1/72 scale and also my first helicopter. My first Hasegawa kit as well. I was not overly impressed with this build. It was fun and fairly easy to build. Most everything fit as it should. There was a little bit of trouble with the main windshield fitting properly and I had some trouble with the decals not adhering to the model itself. You will need to paint as you go due to the interior pieces being visible. Just have to be careful on the masking when getting ready to paint the main body. I did like that the kit gives you some options on door configuration (open/closed). One other area of issue was the rear landing gear. It is molded onto one half of the body but it is extremely delicate. I broke mine several times before I finally just left it off and reglued in place using superglue at the very end.

Really enjoyed this kit. Only done a handful of chopper kits, and this for me was very enjoyable really happy with hasegawa. I have since bought rescue hawk seahawk Aswell as a Apache let the good times roll.
