Excellent starter kit
This is an excellent starter kit. Its simple to build. There are a few caveats, because its a starter kit: 1) There are no bombs or missiles included. 2) The parts are molded in black plastic. Thats good since you dont need to paint it if youre a beginner. However, if you do try to paint it, I found it difficult to determine if the plastic was fully covered by paint or not. This was slightly problematic because i wanted to apply some weathering and other details that didnt come out well because i didnt realize i was applying them on bare plastic. Probably a mistake on my part. I still absolutely recommend this kit.

This is a pretty basic kit. I believe that Hasagawa originally intended to include a bomb bay but decided against it. On the inside of the low fuselage, there were the raised lines for placement of the bay and a set of doors had to be glued it. It would have been easy to add a weapons bay. They also included a piece of plastic to fit in the nose as ballast. It is a good representation og the real plane.
