a lot of surprises
I received this kit as a surprise thank-you gift; I don't know where they got it, but this kit deserves a review. This kit is excellent. The attention to detail (especially the interior) along with a beautiful fit with the two fuselage halves is really surprising.; no wrestling, glue wiping, cutting, puttying sanding and whatever usually going with heavy detail just wasn't there; it went together great. Instructions for such a complex and detailed kit were, again, surprising. Hasegawa, often falls short here, but not this time.
Can't say the aircraft itself is beautiful or unique. It seems The Japanese used a cookie cutter to create all the different single engine bombers, and in the historic reality this was a loser compared to what came before and what was built by competitors at the end of the war. Lets just say it is rugged and handsome, and the kit itself rates as a beauty.: a pleasure to build.
