disappointing
The fit for this model was pretty good, what you would expect from Hasegawa. The instructions were also pretty clear. However, the reason I rated it low is because there were big chunks of plastic missing from several pieces of the model. I don't know if this is going on with the whole line or if mine was a fluke. I don't mind paying a little extra for high quality models. I just did not get my money's worth on this one.
Amazing Hellcat
I've built a HobbyBoss Hellcat and now this Hasegawa offering and there is no comparison. Hasegawa wins hands down. The fit and detail are amazing; no gaps. The instructions are straight forward and logical. The only con I can think of is that some of the parts were really tiny, but I worked through it. It was a joy to build. Hasegawa is now my second favorite behind only Tamiya.
