Reviews : ICM Ki27b Japanese Army Fighter

The Ki-27 or Type 97 Fighter was the Japanese Army Air Force's main fighter until the start of World War II. I will agree, with other review, This is a Highly detailed plane. I built the Hasegawa kit long ago, which was an easy build. This kit includes detail components engine mounts, complete Machine guns (cowling) proper seat design, floor deck, wheel spat options. the flush rivet detail is hard to see, but there. MPM has up their game with this kit, with detail reserved normally for 1/48 scale kits.

The ICM Ki-27 is a very nice kit of this famous early Japanese fighter. It has very fine panel lines and rivet detail. It almost appears fragile, with very delicate detail parts and razor sharp trailing edges. This is a much more refined kit than the quite old ( but still good) Mania/Hasegawa kit. Nice decals with several options. Nice kit , especially on sale at a great price.
