Easy, simple and old Opel Blitz.
This Italeri Opel Blitz is a re-box of an old kit (of some 40 years ago).
The good things: This is a basic but nice kit, with a good overall level of detail in the mouldings, especially in the cargo deck. Easy build. Several and different painting options with colour profiles examples. Nice decals. It comes with 3 oil drums. A transparent sheet to cut out the windshield and the windows (This is likely a bad thing; it requires quite a bit of skill to get it right).
The bad: Awful sink marks in the outside of the rear wheels. Poor details in the interior of the cabin. The front of the truck is somewhat simplified, some details are missing (e.g. no rear-view mirrors), and the windshield issue.
All in all, this kit is far from perfect, but it's easy to assemble and a sufficiently detailed model that would be most suitable to an average modeller or for wargaming.
Recommended to any WW2 vehicle fan.
