Reviews : Italeri Sukhoi SU-34/32 Fullback

This is a rebox of the Zvezda SU-34. I do not like Zvezda kits. They use posts instead of tabs for mounting the vertical and horizontal stabilizers. I have had naby issues with them breaking. I ended up having to use a piece of sprue to support the vertical stabilizers. The selection of weapons could have been a bit better. I ended up using some additional LBBs from other modern Russian aircraft on this and will end up using the missiles on another kit. I would have rather has the Trumpeter kit, but that is twice the price.

This Fullback kit is the best out there for this scale. It has superb detail and a great loadout of air to air missiles, anti radiation missiles and laser guided bombs. This kit is a big one, being a bit larger than a Raptor. It has 4 marking options (3 for Russian Air Force and 1 for the Indian Navy) the decals are great and go on very well. A little filler is needed around the intake/engine seam and the fuselage meet up in between the wing =s and stabilizers. I really enjoyed this kit and highly reccomend it.

VERY nice kit detailing is good parts fit well. Makes for a very nice kit when finished spend a little time detailing to make this kit stand out good quality.

This is nice and big airplane.. I may struggle to paint blue camo but this will be the best airplane after that...
