It’s not perfect, but it is fun. It is really tiny, but really neat. The cons first; parts 15a and 14a are reversed. (The shock absorbers placements should be outward.) The figures are not up to modern standards. The recoil rifle is pitiful. The windshield has latches, but the hood doesn’t! The body to frame fit is iffy. It lacks fine details. No equipment to put in the jeep. The cover is clunky and thick. The pros; It could be put together in a day or two. It looks just like a jeep! It has an engine and the hood can be posed open. The windshield can be up or laid on the hood. The parts count is perfect. The cost point is good. There are no real tiny fine details to break or lose in the carpet. The model is perfect for scratchbuilding details. It comes with a trailer.

Starting to build up my Allies collection and started with this. Not as sharp as kits I've had from say Tamiya but for the price it's not bad. There was a little flash to clean up but nothing you can't manage easily. I like the trailer, simple but adds so much to a scene if desired. I haven't put the figures together yet, they look ok, but old and outdated in terms of the detail. The kit builds pretty smoothly and it's a pretty good choice for a beginner or someone a bit more seasoned wanting to practice some new paint jobs or custom the jeep here and there. The Italeri Jeep I used with the Italeri LVT-4 Water Buffalo is a great addition to any collection. It was easily put together and add detailing to throughout construction. All of the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I used all craft type acrylic paints for the initial painting and weathering coats applied later. This review is in the same theme as the one for the Water Buffalo.

The Willy was great vehicle. This could have been an easy build if the fitting was better. The kit does allow for multiple versions. I mounted the RR as reflected in a WW II photo from the Italian front. But it is one of the cheapest prices available. In the future will use this kit to build another special vehicles the Chindits’ 60mm mortar jeep and the 81mm mortar from 3/5 Inf.

This is a great kit. The jeep and the trailer will make a nice addition to any diorama. The pieces all go together nicely, and there was little flash on the pieces. The instructions were easy to follow. The figures included in the kit offer a nice detail. I would recommend this kit.

You will be hard pressed to find kits this nice for this price. Instructions are good, as well as decals ( 4 versions ). Kit is molded in olive drab plastic. Figures are just so- so. This would be a perfect kit for a novice. Finished product builds up better than expected for $10..69

Italeri's venerable Willys Jeep, here paired with a trailer and a trio of figures. Features a full frame and suspension, engine, and includes tons of detail. Also has a soft top option. The trailer and figures create lots of diorama potential. Highly recommended!

This kit has been around for a while and is starting to show it's age. There was more flash to scrape off than usual, but everything cleaned up nicely. The biggest downside to this kit is the figures. They went straight in to the circular file.

I don't know if I just got a bad example, but flash was a nuisance and pretty bad parting lines and ejector pin marks. Maybe I'm just being picky, but I put it back in the box and went with a Tamiya.

The jeep itself is pretty good. Small parts like springs and stuff take a little patience. The directions by Italeri aren't great. Overall it's ok. I recommend it.

Pretty good kit. Instructions are decent. This one is the second and enjoyed the first. Look forward to getting both done and start working on a diorama.

The jeep looks great and was quite easy to put together. The bad thing was that it was molded in gray and I had to paint the whole thing.

lots of small parts to put in small places, but all in all a good build. Not to much flashing and is a quality kit.

great price easy kit. no problem to build.should have bought 2 of them make a great diaroma scene
