A nice, detailed kit that looks great when finished. Good fit on most parts. I had issues with the rear deck assembly as it was rather fiddly to build in the open position. That could be just related to my skill level. I managed to get it together and it looks fine. As with all 1/72 scale kits be careful with handling small parts as I broke locating tabs and pins on a few pieces. I do recommend the kit for model helicopter fans.

This is a very good kit to add to your helicopter collection. Italeri makes a smooth fitting kit with only minor sanding and putty filling needed. Great detailed cockpit area and interior. I went a little outside the norm on this one and painted it jet black with gold trim instead of the normal military gray. I would recommend this kit for just about any age (with some assistance for painting, etc.) for younger modelers.

1/72 scale CH53E Sea Dragon. Only my second helicopter ever built. My opinion of this kit is not for beginners. I've had to deviant from the instructions in order to build this thing. The fits are ok but the assembly is very hard. You can get easily frustrated trying to build this kit. Just be patient and it will all come together.

Good kit good price .All rotors turn.Several options are there .Back deck opens very detailed.On most hh 53 you have a real problem with main rotor droop mot so pn this kit.
