Reviews : Italeri UH-1D Slick

Was given this as something to do while recovering from surgery. It was a nice simple kit - which went together without any major issues. The fit was good needing only a TINY amount of putty above the front windscreen to blend the seams together. The interior is well detailed and has a lot of options for the 3 decal versions in the kit. The only 2 gripes I had with this were the instillation of the vertical supports for the forward facing rear seat having poor locating marks, and the windows seemingly being all undersized. Neither were impossible to fix and in the end they will be unnoticed. The doors can all be built either open or closed (and the rears slide too). All in all it was a nice quick build.

Wonderful little model. Everything fit together great and the details were outstanding. I really don't have anything bad to say about this model. Decals were nice, with 5 different option to choose from. One thing that did surprise me, was that the side doors are moveable, so that you can choose to have them open or closed.

I just received the kit. Upon initial inspection, model looks very good. I'm excited to build it soon.

Good kit with four different country liveries. No flash on mine. Definitely recommend it.
