Reviews : Italeri Peterbilt 378 Long Hauler Tractor Cab

I love semis and this is definitely a kit i like it goes good for my diorama of truckers this diorama features many trucks in a yard where they will eventually make their next stop and when I saw this kit I had to add it to the diorama this kit looks very nice and will look even nicer when I get a trailer behind it this kit is very nicely detailed and i love it i might just pick up a second one for the diorama PROS: nicely detailed, fun to build, gives you a challenger, minimal to no flash CONS: Kind of expensive depending on your budget if you are thinking of picking up this kit but don’t have a lot of money don’t stress it cause the Pete 359 and Kenworth W900 from Revell are also just as good but if you do have the money pick it up it is really an awesome kit and you will be satisfied and will do well for dioramas

This is a modified version of the previously released Peterbilt 378. (The box shows a 379) In this issue they have thankfully added the 63 standup sleeper from the 377 kit. It also features a 60 Series Detroit engine, positionable front wheels, and air ride suspension. Although I don't like the multi piece cab this allows the roof to be left removable. This kit lends itself to lots of customizing and scratchbuilding possibilities. For example with the addition of a resin aftermarket hood it can be converted to a 379, 357, etc...

This is my first Italeria model. I am very impressed with he high level of detail put into the model me the instructions (they even tell you what part tray each piece is on). This truck went together super smooth and easy. It has been a great change from doing cars. Very highly recommended. The quality is well worth the money spent.

A very high quality model.no. issues with pieces that needed modification to fit.plenty of accurate detail .and easy to assemble especially when the pieces fit.I did not have to make one jig to hold parts

I have built two of these and loved every minute of it. The attention to detail is unlike any other models that I have ever built. This is definitely not for the beginner.
