Reviews : Italeri Freightliner FLC Tractor Cab

I love semis and this is definitely a kit i like it goes good for my diorama of truckers this diorama features many trucks in a yard where they will eventually make their next stop and when I saw this kit I had to add it to the diorama this kit looks very nice and will look even nicer when I get a trailer behind it this kit is very nicely detailed and i love it i might just pick up a second one for the diorama PROS: nicely detailed, fun to build, gives you a challenger, minimal to no flash CONS: Kind of expensive depending on your budget if you are thinking of picking up this kit but don’t have a lot of money don’t stress it cause the Pete 359 and Kenworth W900 from Revell are also just as good but if you do have the money pick it up it is really an awesome kit and you will be satisfied and will do well for dioramas

This is a good kit. However, it has a generic chassis that Italeri puts under a lot of their truck kits. The cab is a multi-piece build that leaves a seam across the cab roof. It can be filled and sanded. I have built several of these and like them. They are are easy to modify to other truck configurations. The reason for only 4 stars is that the cab has the roof seam to deal with.

This kit is a very good quality kit. The instructions come with a little history about the truck and the illustrations are very clear. Some illustrations show the opposite side of the pieces being assembled. I am a modeler returning to the hobby after about thirty years. I have never had the pleasure of buiolding a kit like this before!

This was a fun build,very detailed and everything went together as it was supposed to.They are more expensive than the other brands but after building several AMT trucks it was nice not having to do any trimming and fitting.Ill be posting pics soon.Highly recommend this kit

Just like all Italeri kits builds to a very fine kit no problem at all the cost is an issue but compared to a revel or amt kit the cost is justified in the detail and lack of flash and mold release agent on the kits love this kit

I got this model in good condition and I really like this model and it looks like the real thing
