Outstanding Model
I built this kit several years ago and was shocked to see the potential for an absolutely incredible opportunity for lots of detailing, from the crew compartment to the 105mm Howitzer. The basic crew compartment was a space that held tons of GI gear plus the ammo for the Howitzer and more gear than I could come up with and whatever I used was leftover parts from other models and had to be hung on the outside of the crew compartment and on the rear of the kit. I included five US artillery crew using figures from other sets, one to represent a gun loading team and a driver stuffed up into the driver's compartment ( which actually fit!) The figures were posed in a relaxed manner with the vehicle commander up in the pulpit looking over the road. I've included many photos to show the complexity of the kit and the details. I recommend that highly experienced model builders only attempt this kit to the maximum in detailing as I have.
Great model
The model was very good….fit..details. My only problem was the instructions….really bad instructions. Lot of vague pictures. Lots of arrows crossing over one another. Spues “ B “ and “ C “ were marked wrong. B parts were on C and Cs were on Bs. All in all it’s a beautiful model. I perked mine up with some left over stowage from Value Gear….really looks sharp.
Good kit
The shipment process was good and the kit was in excellent condition. The kit has optional decals and versions.
