Very detailed scale gas pump.
These are great scale gas pumps for for my camp ground/Lake scene. I am building a Store/Bait Shop for the campground and needed these pumps outside the store. Just like I remember the places I spent many a happy time camping and fishing. I remember Sinclair gas stations with the familiar brontosaurus on the pump. I do not believe that Sinclair is still in business but I may be wrong. As kids my brother and I always asked my dad when we were in the car with him to buy his gas there and we could see the blow-up dinosaur toys hanging in the window of the gas station office.. One day Dad brought us home an inflatable Dino the Sinclair dinosaur toy. It was a green blow-up toy maybe 18 in length. We thought it was pretty cool. Don't ever know what became of it. I wish I still had it. The pump brings back good memories.
Deluxe Custom Gas Pumps Sinclair
Needed a couple gas pumps to complete the local gas station/garage scene on my layout. After traveling out west and seeing that Sinclair is still a very big player I bought this set. Will have to change my Texaco sign and find a dinosaur to really make it authentic. I am pleased with the quality and detail and the price of this item.
