Second choice coupler
My current standard coupler is the Kadee #151 (see review), but the #711 and 712 were my former standard. They aren't hard to assemble using the Kadee #701 assembly jig and spring pick, but you'll want both. ACC the covers together and the rest is easy to mount. They have a very small box, and thus will fit on many steam loco pilot beams with minimal surgery.
