A great way to add freight to your layout
If you started your model train layout with a passenger car set, this is a great way to add a freight train. This set is also available with the F7A Bluebonnet (#106-6273). Kato makes the best locomotives in the business in my opinion. I have never been disappointed with a Kato loco. My set came with the Blue Bonnet F7A (Santa Fe), 2 each 2-bay 35' covered hoppers (Southern Pacific), 1 each 48' methane tank car (UTLX6996) and a 27' Cupola Caboose (ATSF). There is some minor assembly of small parts that might break during shipping. The couplers are knuckle type with magnetic trip pins separate to install only if you plan to use magnetic uncouplers. NOTE: Kato warns not to exceed 12 volts DC power. Kato controllers are redlined at 12 volts. If you should be using another brand of controller, you should determine the 12 volt mark.
