Very Handy Power Feeder Track Especially For Temporary Layouts
From time to time it is desirable to put together a temporary weekend layout. The Kato 20-041 power feeder track fits the bill perfectly. The Kato 24-818 wire feeders or equivalent, while usable, cause slight bumps when passing underneath the track. These eliminate the bumps and allow the track to rest flat on the surface. A small flat connector, as shown in one of the pictures, inserts in a matching connector underneath the track. The wires are routed to one of the 2 roadbed openings that are located on each side. In the event multiple feeder tracks are used, it is very important to note how they are positioned since its possible to arrange in such a way that a short will occur.

Great power feeder and it is easy to hook up. Using 2 of them to power rail and using 2 additional for leads to a bus wire. Don't have to soder wires, works well.
