This oil comes very highly recommended in the model train community so I decided to give it a try. I have been using Labelle 102 for about a week now refreshing my locomotives and I love it. It's thin enough to not cause drag but thick enough to that it stays where you put it and doesn't run everywhere. It has really improved my locomotive maintenance regimen as I was using a combination of RemOil and 3in1 oil and I found that 3in1 really doesn't age well and starts to thicken and darken quite quickly even in a sealed container not to mention on something so I'll be sticking with Labelle.

This is a fine product, like all Labelle lubricants. That said, it's very much an oil rather than a grease, as it's too fluid for that term. I would prefer it be relabeled as heavy oil, but that doesn't prevent it from being very useful, just a bit harder to apply.
