Good instructions! All kinds of extra decals. Very high quality model perfect for heavy detailing! I Weathered the grout, brick & stone, hand painted awnings (they come solid white)It's not easy but the best way is by hand doing both colors over & over till you get it looking good....to small to mask off. I also added after market glass ..window glaze not included with the model & absolutely needs it with all the openings, but at $11-$15 not a big deal. The window glazing sheets are very inexpensive to buy $2-6 bucks for several notebook size sheets, then your good to go for endless model window projects. I also painted the roof to look like tar,:really easy to do and looks great.. Great little model with excellent presence & great small foot print. The lack of glass is the only reason I've rated 4 stars instead of five..... review by A. Cali

This kit goes together rather easily, as the kit builds up like a layer cake. Each story has it's four walls cast as one unit. Unfortunately, this makes it much more difficult to use it to build a background flat. It is however, a very typical looking masonry building that lends itself to almost any application. The detailing parts allow the builder to give it a little bit of individuality. It is nice to have the fire escapes, even if they are a little thick in their cross sections. At this price, I recommend giving it a try and seeing what it inspires you to make it into.

This was a great kit; much better than some others more expensive kits; after opening the kit to inspect, there was virtually no molding flash, all the parts where straight, and accounted for. The direction was very clear and easy to follow. This was a basic kit that went together very easily and did not require much skill to complete. The building is molded with a nice brown brick texture and several roof accessories and some signage. This is a great looking building with thick walls and pieces that take paint well. I would recommend this kit for any scenery.

What this kit lacks in detail, it makes up for in simplicity of construction and speed of building. The kit can be built out of box, with no modifications and look great. The windows/doors cannot be positioned, but this is not a major concern for most folks in my experience. I added interior detail and lighting and it looked great - plenty of room in the model for it. The awnings are a nice touch, but take note that the red stripes are not pre-painted or provided in decal or sticker form - you have to paint them on yourself.

I like this kit but gave it 3 stars because of the description. The write up said no painting required and it was multiple colored. Well it is only two colors, white and brown and this would not look good at all in just these two colors. It does need some paint if you want it to look somewhat realistic. Price point is good. Just remember the kit is nice but does need some paint.

This kit is a pleasure to build. Everything fits perfect looks great with exceptional detail. And it goes together quickly. I did not glue the roof on in case I want to add something to the interior. It fits tight without glue.

Nicely packaged. Can be assembed as is without painting for a nice building. I detail all my buildings with paint and weathering so I will do the same here. Haven't assembled as yet so I can't comment a fit of parts.

Lifelike kits are the best for the price and this kit in particular.Just opening the box is amazing, and the floors all detailed are a great addition. I'm looking forward to adding this to my layout.

Agree with other reviews, excellent kit, easy to assemble. Really needs no painting except for awnings and weathering. Could use more awnings. Decal sheet is a plus with extra signs. Good roof detail.

This model is easy and fast to put together. Neet how the fire escape moves and goes up and down. Did a few modifications to it but very happy as is to. Great add to my railroad.

Molded in brown , White, really disappointed. It says molded in multiple colors , it is not, just to let you know.

Easy enough to assemble, and with some personal touches it makes a nice building for a Main Street addition.

got this a while ago and enjoyed building it. should have more awnings though.looks great.

Nice addition to my layout. Brings a different dimension and nostalgia.
