flexible structures, good price
Having only a 2x6 layout I need small, useful buildings. These fit the bill pretty well. The models have little flash and assembly easily. They come with a number of accessories which is a nice touch, however I thought many of them lacked detail and did not include them (especially for the whistle stop). The mid-sized shanty is supposed to have a smoke stack that exits from the rear wall, however no such smoke stack was included in the kit. Not wanting to fabricate one I just filled the hole in. The only other changes I made were adding windows and a couple of decals. Obviously these buildings absolutely need painting to be acceptable, but that's kind of my favorite thing so I was okay with that!
Variety of scenes
These sheds fit in a variety of scenes, easy to paint and modify to fit a farm, trackside, factory storage, and so on.
