This building was about 4 hours of enjoyable time including painting to complete. I thought it looked difficult at first sight of the instructions but after starting, I found it extremely easy and enjoyable to put together and paint. I would suggest this kit for any level of train enthusiasts from beginners to advanced. I was a little disappointed however that the red and white stripes weren't pre-painted as I thought they'd be and that was probably the most difficult aspect to ensure the lines of paint were straight. Also, I could not locate the weathervane that is supposed to be included in the kit but I simply applied the Colonel's figure to the top of the building.

An outstanding Life-Like produce; after opening the kit to inspect, there was some molding flash; several of the parts required straighten. All the parts were accounted for and the directions were clear and easy to follow, but this project required some skill to construct. All the sidewalls, glass door/windows, base, and roof took some time and skill to line-up and fit perfectly. But all the work was well worth the time; the interior detail is very nice and the roof is already painted with the red stripes. The KFC signs and accessories adds just a little more to an already outstanding project. Overall I enjoyed this kit; this old fashion KFC will fit into any early or modern scenery.

Finger likin The kit is easily built in a day if you don't take time to paint the parts that add to the details. I did paint mine following the box art as a guide. The interior, as small as it is can be brought out in detail with any number of small tables as I used the Woodland Scenics kit number A1939, Outdoor Dining to be in the dinning room. I also painted the cement blocks in the parking lot in appropriate colors. Over all I highly recommended this kit to any age group.

This was an awesome addition to my project. My son wanted me to add an area so he can play with cars, his rule was for a restaurant and a house. This was the restaurant, and the build was very simple, the instructions were easy to follow. Just add the paint and glue, and you're on your way Awesome product

Difficulty: Beginner Pros: It’s a KFC. Looks great. Comes with internal details. Sign is sticker based and easy to apply. A must buy. Cons: The outside brick is molded in black, so to get it white, it takes a few coats.

I got this kit for my birthday. Looks great so far. But, where can i get counter workers? And tables that will fit?

Just loved it. Exactly as described but better. Appears so life like. Love all the extra accent pieces .
