Review
Sorry but I have to stick with a 3 star on this model. For being made in the U.S.A ...I'm a little disappointed. Right off the bat out of box there is a Bad fit on the main deck and hull. Super structure is detailed really nice...but bad fit and flashing...hard to over look. Will have to use putty and some weathering to compensate.It should still come out pretty nice.
Lindberg USS Carronade
I was reluctant at first to build this model. There were some problems with deck fitting and parts of the superstructure not coming together as expected. There is some missing detail. However, I would highly recommend this kit to anyone interested in a unique subject. So much fun!
Very Fun, Goes well with the Landing Ships
Having build models for about 50 years now, I enjoyed this ship because it is so different from regular warships. Looks great with the other Lindberg Landing type craft. Would build it again if I had too.
