Very good retro themed kit.
This is a very good re-release of a vintage kit that originally appeared in the 1950s. As such, it lacks modern features such as interior detail and inscribed panel lines, but that is somewhat beside the point. The potential is certainly there for detailers and experienced modelers who want to add features. The retro theme extends to the packaging and instructions, both of which are as close to the originals as modern documentation requirements will allow. Mold quality is very good and the elaborate decals are excellent.
Winnie May Lockheed Vega 1/48 Scale lnd502
I am going to adapt this kit for the one used by aviatrix Amelia Earhart in 1932 . The first woman to cross solo the Atlantic in 1932. I built previously the Lost Electra of Amelia Earhart purchased from Hobbylinc few years ago. I am going to paint it red as she did and adapt the registration number. It must be fun to build for the 1/48 Scale. Cheap price too.
Nice Lindberg re-done kit.
Kit was quite nice and went together quite well. The instructions could have had more detail as it was pretty plain and not real specific with details. The decals were a bit of a chore around the wheel pants. Overall it was a fun build and would recommend buying it if you like the older planes. Good price too!!
