Buy the Animated Electroluminescent Experimenters Kit (MCS2502) instead.
I can honestly say this is the 1st Micro-Structures product Ive been disappointed with. You can make a nice sign with it, but only one. Sure there are 6 contacts on the EL light, but there is only 1 contact on the power supply to power it. In order to make use of the remainder of the EL light you would have to purchase additional Electroluminescent Power Supplies (MCS2701) at 6.52 each. I would recommend that instead of buying this kit @ 21.53, spend the extra 1.57 up front and buy the Animated Electroluminescent Experimenters Kit (MCS2502) @ 23.10. The power supply that comes with it has 5 connectors to power 5 signs.
