Model Power is not a name usually found at the modeling forefront but a lot of their offerings are quite good models. This is one of them. The tractor is very nice rivaling anything Trucks N Stuff has offered up and I would argue superior in this case. Detailing is terrific. Chrome is everywhere and very shiny as it should be including exhaust stacks, cab steps, front mud flaps, foot step to the sleeper, wheels, grille, and even the fuel tanks under the truck and totally out of sight are chromed. There are fog lights down in the front bumper as well as painted turn blinkers. The rest of the under cab detail is full drive train components and suspension, all painted. The mirrors are very good and they are painted to simulate a real mirror if looking from behind the tractor and close up. The cab has a nice, glossy paint job with a sun roof with fully decorated, painted interior including the painted driver behind the wheel. There is a textured diamond safety plate where a person would stand to attach air hoses between the sleeper cab and the fifth wheel. I did paint the tire treads and rear mud flaps on both the tractor and trailer. The trailer is no less detailed with landing gear, nice painting and lettering, chrome wheels and the rear door can be opened if it is going to be used as part of a diorama. All rivet detail is quite good as well. All of it combines to create an excellent, road worthy vehicle you would like to have for your layout, which I highly recommend. Well done Model Power!
