Extremely Detailed MENG Kit Not Your Usual Armor
Follow-on Meng kit and wanted to try a flexible track assembly as the first one had the fixed track pieces. Also chose a non US or German model. So PROs - lots and lots of very small parts (not for the weak hearted) all very detailed pieces everywhere. Also luckily that the very delicate track pieces have spares as broke 2 of the first 6 pieces. CONs - at least it should have been molded in a body color from the paint schemes offered (actual mold color no where close to scheme). Also some of the sprue connections are thicker on delicate parts so care needed when separating.
Overall good kit and enjoyed putting it together as not one of the standard kit designs, though may have cured myself of both curiosity of model subject and flexible tracks. Lastly, extreme caution brush painting over air-brush as appearance seems clumpy on these smaller parts. Maybe air-brushing is my next step?
