My grandnephew got me this kit because he wanted a model of the Spirit of 76. I drove unit number 4476 for three and a half years and one summer I took him with me for 3 weeks from Georgia to California and all points in between. This is a very well made model that has a stunning amount of detail and has enough options to help model specific trucks. The interior is well detailed with lockers, refrigerator, bunk and seats as well as a large number of decals too. The MaxxForce engine is well detailed and would benefit from some additional hoses and wires. The exhaust had to be modified to match the one on my rig since it ran horizontally under the frame and I had to scratch build a representation of the diesel powered APU mounted on the right side behind and below the sleeper. The wheels and tires are better than any I've seen before and they are sold separately if you want to use them on other trucks. The only gripe I have is that the steer (front) tires should be grooved rather than treaded. I would recommend this kit to anyone that loves big trucks and desires a more modern subject. I hope Moebius will continue to make more kits like this one.

I love semis and this is definitely a kit i like it goes good for my diorama of truckers this diorama features many trucks in a yard where they will eventually make their next stop and when I saw this kit I had to add it to the diorama this kit looks very nice and will look even nicer when I get a trailer behind it this kit is very nicely detailed and i love it i might just pick up a second one for the diorama PROS: nicely detailed, fun to build, gives you a challenger, minimal to no flash CONS: Kind of expensive depending on your budget if you are thinking of picking up this kit but don’t have a lot of money don’t stress it cause the Pete 359 and Kenworth W900 from Revell are also just as good but if you do have the money pick it up it is really an awesome kit and you will be satisfied and will do well for dioramas

wow! I build a ton of italeri kits and thought the detail of those was great but hold on to your seat when you unbox this kit and see how intricately detailed even the running lights are your going to be amazed! This kit even has the right updated engine withhoses and overflow tanks and everything youd see on thebreal truck. its all there. the wood trim decals are one of the best parts to the kit. the decal sheet is amazing!. I will be purchasing thos kit again in the future to build a low top version.I would compare this kit to a resin kit almost its jist that detailed.

Mobius does a great job engineering and detailing these kits. Parts fit together very well. This is not a beginners model kit. It take some time and skill to get this kit to go together properly. My 2 biggest beefs with Mobius are instructions that are unclear in certain areas such as the engine and rear suspension assembly and the fact that the sprue stamped part numbers, at least some of them, are nearly microscopic, and that just makes it more difficult for my 58 year old eyes. Work carefully and patiently and you’ll have a stunning model truck when completed. Have fun!

A Very well done kit. Builds up as a very detailed model. The kit has a few draw backs but not big issues. The instructions are vague for some assemblies, but not a deal breaker, I've used the painting photos to clear up some assembly questions. The cab fitment is a bit finicky but only because the kit mounts are exact scaled copies of the rear ones and glue area is minimal. Buts to an excellent copy of the real trucks and with the Moebius trailer kit you have a great modern tractor trailer combo

Great overall parts fit on this one. The detail was some of the best I've seen. The only issue I ran into was the hood. Like other kits, it was warped. and, the finished fit was not the best. Still a great kit. I've seen others state the instructions were poor, but I thought they were fine. I wish there were more modern kits out there, too many have been discontinued.

I bought this kit to finish out a fantasy NASCAR hauler build i was making. The truck kit was nice and went together well. The only thing that I'll say bad about it is research the real truck online and get the right colors to match the trucks parts like the engine, interior, etc. Other than that very happy with this build!

This kit takes a significant amount of time to build, as oppossed to big rig kits from other manufacturers, due to it's detail. All things considered it is well worth the time. The only thing they missed the boat on is the 'instructions', they are not up to the standard that the kit is.

This Prostar is a very detail kit with well thought out parts attachment placement on the sprue. The fit of the parts is very tight. Be sure to follow the numbers on the instructions for parts placement. Some of the parts are very similar, but must be put in the right spot.

great model kit easy to put together. I modified my exhaust system do it would actually smoke

Nothing but love for Moebius! It's nice to have a modern US tractor.
