The 64 turns 65 with the same level of detail!
Unlike it's 1964 predecessor, the Moebius 1965 Chevy Nova SS Kit builds out of the box as a stock Nova SS with a V8 and 4 speed manual on the floor. The tiny decal sheet provides scripts, badges, dash guages and license plates. The box art shows narrow whitewalls but only black tires are in the box. The nicely detailed platform style interior builds up from the floor pan. There are 3 center consoles on the tree but the instructions call for one version. There are 2 floor pedal options, 1 with a clutch pedal, the other without. The instructions show the clutch version. Everything is separate on the well detailed chassis. The parts trees have 2 mufflered dual exhaust setups, 2 sets of heads, 2 sets of valve covers, a chrome blower, 1 V8 engine block, 1 set of stock headers and 2 transmissions. The instructions build the stock V8 4 speed stick. The large, colorful, orderly instruction sheet chronicles the V8 4 speed build and is easy to follow. The molding is crisp and clean with no notable flash and a high parts count. The main difference between this and the 1964 version boils down to Chevy's cosmetic changes for the 1965 model year. Why no staple of the 1960's narrow whitewall, red stripe or lettered tires Moebius?
