Disappointed with Moebius on this one..
This is something a bit different - a Mercury pickup! The history is interesting - there was a tiff between Ford and Canada, and Canada wouldn't let Ford build F100s - so Ford badged them as Mercury M100s. Interestingly, the Canadian Forestry Service seemed to be the biggest customer.. On to the review. I am sorely disappointed with Moebius on this kit. It's basically a Ford F100 with Mercury badges, hood, and tailgate - and the molds are getting tired. More mold lines and flash than I would have expected for a new release. I invented new daddy words getting the windshield in place - only silver lining is that it pops in, no glue needed - but GEEZ ya gotta push hard enough to fear for the structural integrity of the frame and the glass! Same with the interior. Wound up not using glue - it was tough enough to get the interior bucket in! VERY difficult time getting the body and bed to line up - this is my 6th Moebius pickup, and I haven't had this issue. The engine took some convincing to get into place. On the plus side, it does build up to a nice shelf piece, if you overlook the bad. I fabricated a canvas camper topper to distract the eye a bit from the bad bed/cab lineup..
Excellent and unique subject.

Glad to Moebius thinking outside the box with a Mercury M-100. A little known Mercury variant sold in Canada. I'm sure most have never heard of these. Otherwise...as great as any other Moebius Ford pick up kit.
Nice looking kit
This will be my first Moebius build, and it looks good so far, parts are clean, and dry fit really well. Hopefully not to much prep! It’s looking to be a good model to build. I’ll update when I complete it.
