This was my first Moebius build. The box art was awesome and caused me to get this one. The kit was very good with clean crisp detals. The instructions had a lot of color and detail...sometimes both too much detail and too little. Sometimes just an arrow to show the approx location of a part. I liked the color photos, but I was not a fan of the 3/4 isometric view from the rear of the body. I felt it left off some clarity of not showing the front. In their defense there was a color image of a finished car fron the front 3/4 and they had one fron the rear. I have to wait to finish the rear because I did not have any clear red in stock as the tail lights come clear and you have to paint them. Regular red may be fine, but I opted to order some red clear. For the clear windows, I prefer the window glass to be mounted from the inside. I use canopy glue to hold the glass in from the inside, and it dries clear and less chance to get glue on the visible areas. This model has you mount the glass from the outside and I did not like that at all. I ended up with a gap in the bottom of the windshield having tried to mount the dash where it would not interfere with the glass as sometimes is the case. I felt like there could have been better detail on where to glue the dash on the interior tub. The tub is built up with separate door panels and the dash. Went together good, but it was trial and error in moving the dash fore and aft for it to be in the guestimated correct location. I loved the pre-drilled holes for the door handles and wipers. Made their installation so much neater and easier. I drew the line on the 2-piece mirrors...too small for fat fingers trying to glue them together and then drill the hole out to mount on the body without getting glue everywhere. The custom wheels and tires were a great touch, also. I've never been one that enjoys building a detailed front suspension. Some of the parts are small and fragile. But, it all worked out and I have three other Moebius kits on the shelf, so I now have an idea what to expect. Loved the look, and it was a relatively quick build as I have a little more time available during the winter months. May sound like a lot of nitpicking, but those are my thoughts. A perfect kit does not exist, but this one is better than most. I would buy and build another one...it builds into a great model. The difference between Good and Excellent in the rating category is so small, most experienced models would no doubt rate it excellent.
