A flash from the past
Growing up in the 60's (I'm giving away my age), I remember the television series Batman. It was extremely popular for a few years before the novelty wore out. It was the Simpsons of its time, as many of the popular actors of that time such as Vincent Price, Roddy McDowell, and even Liberace played villains on the series. And many others made cameo appearances my sticking their heads out the window of a building Batman and Robin were scaling with their ropes to talk to them. I had a tragedy about 2 months ago when my home was destroyed by a fire, and I lost everything, including my large collection of models, both built and unbuilt. I had just bought the Catwoman model in this series, and hadn't built it yet. Now that I'm in my new home I decided to purchase the models I had recently lost, but decided to start with Batman instead. This is my first model in my new home. The kit is extremely well made, as the only flash I had to trim was on the cape, and on the base. The instructions are excellent, and include notes on the details of the model, including the painting guide. All of the parts went together without any problems. Because of my situation, and where I live I used craft paints to paint this model, as I had to start over with my tools and paints. When finished, this model looks just like Adam West, who played Batman in the series. I highly recommend this model for anyone who is interested in this series, or wants to built something different instead of the cars, boats, and planes. My next model will be Robin, which I have already bought. I plan to purchase the rest of the models in this series. This is a great kit for anybody to build.
Holy Plastic Models, it's Batman
Moebius keeps turning out fantastic geeky plastic models and this is one of the latest. Growing up in the '60s I was at the perfect age when this TV show was televised. This model does an amazing job of capturing Adam West as Batman from the show. It was sculpted by the immensely talented Jeff Yagher and once you have the cowl on the face it really does look like West along with the pose and outfit. Finally, it is another excellent and well molded kit which makes it a breeze to put together. Grab one of these and then add the other 6 kits in the series as Moebius releases them for your own Batcave display.
Bam! Pow! Zoink! It's Batman!
Moebius did a fantastic job on this kit. The face as sculpted by Jeff Yeager is spot on to Adam West once the front cowl piece is in place. The fit is really good overall, with minimal filling and sanding to eliminate the seams. My only gripe with this kit is the 'cable' supplied for the Batrope. It's brown and quite stiff. I picked up a spool of white 3ply bead thread at the local fabric store that looks perfect. Aside from that, I highly recommend this kit for modelers of a certain age who remember the campy, corny '66-'69 series fondly.

Good likeness of Adam West. Kit goes together pretty well. Minimal seam cleanup. The string that's included with the kit that is supposed to represent rope for the bat-a-rang is kind of cheesy. I chose to replace it with a scratch built one. Overall it's a good kit.
Excellent kit
This kit is very realistic and goes together without any problems. Takes me back to my childhood
