Updated Sanford and Son truck
I really enjoyed building this kit. I've heard the horror stories but I didn't have many problems. There was some flash especially in the bud of the truck. I built ot into an updated Sanford and Son trucks. The instructions require careful study but no problem for the experienced builder. I was worried about the flip nose front end but it fit well. I suggest some assembly before painting to endure a secure fit. I do recommend this skit for a beginner. This skit can bet a little challenging.
OK Kit
I really tried to like this kit but AMT did its usual. Poorly fitting parts, lack of detail and instructions that you’re better off not using. By following the instructions, I had to break several joints in order to get the body to fit on the chassis. I added some of my own details because the kit was bare bones.
