A Nice re-release of an old kit
This kit is a Round 2 re-release of an old kit I built as a teenager (and won a local contest with). It is Identical to the also re-released 1971 Mercury Cyclone Stock Car kit; except with different body parts, roll cage parts, and small block heads and valve covers. Just like the Cyclone, it assembles pretty easily with no major concerns in the assembly process. There is a fair amount of plastic flashing on the parts to clean up, but I have seen much worse examples, so I can work with this without complaint. The decals are strong, bright, and clear and slip on to the model easily and really need no solvents like MicroSol to set them. I would give this a 3 out of 5 difficulty rating - a few skills will come in handy to assemble and made this a good looking kit.
