Reviews : MPC Coca-Cola 1969 Dodge Charger RT (Snap)

Don't let the snap together description fool you, this is a really nicely detailed representation of a 1969 Dodge Charger. It's a good kit for a quick weekend build or a slump breaker if you're burnt out in your other projects. This would also be a good beginner kit or for the kids. One thing you'll want to take note of, the front belly pan is molded under the body in the trunk area and has to be removed. If you're not careful, you'll overlook it and think there's a missing part. This is a reissue of the old General Lee snap kit, and that's how I built mine. The kit still comes with all the optional General Lee parts, and I had a set of decals so that's the direction I went with my kit. You can also build a nice model of the Dirty Mary Crazy Larry Charger using this kit, which I am currently working on. There's really no cons with this kit. Definitely 5 stars.

For a snap kit it is quite easy, but the trouble comes with the decals. Decals are brittle and a little tough to work with. The kit does come with 2 sets of wheels and a theme to build it 2 different ways.

Had a great time with this kit! The decal choices are plentiful do you can take it in many directions. Snap kits are a great way to make a great model in a short amount of time. Build it your way!!
