Wow, how can an artist create a box top picture of an off road oriented truck with the Warn 8274 winch installed upside down and backwards? This wasn't caught before production??? It has resulted in more than one builder to imitate the error. Oh well, how about the model itself? Below average as rated. About the only good thing was the wheels and tires, which I used on another truck. The frame was so warped I had to cut it in half to get all 4 tires on the ground. This causes the body to look tweaked, like its been in a serious accident. Other fitment problems experienced putting sub assemblies together. Lot of small and extra parts allowing options to custom build. I can't really recommend this kit, except maybe to be cannibalized for other builds. I don't think we can fully blame old molds, although heavy flashing is evident. Sorry MPC!

I Like this truck but definatly not love it is annoying to build the tires are very nice and some of the parts are nice on this truck but it is a pain to build the bumpers don't like to stay on and the brakes/wheel attachment point do not fit on correctly and it has a lot of un fixable camber and when I put on the back bumper the bed did not fit on the frame it was such a pain to build and it gave me a lot of head aches it looks nicely if you take your time and the instructions are not the best I accidently put on the wrong suspension pieces in the wrong place that and the side step doesnt like to fit on the side of the truck and falls off quite often PROS: its a square body, nice looking tire, has a nice detailed 350 Chevy engine CONS: lots of flash, poor instructions, bad fittings i'm only giving this kit 3 stars as it was not that great of a kit

I love this kit it is awesome so much fun to build I am a huge truck fanatic and this kit is a very good asset to my dioramas as I can use it for many thing Work truck, Show truck, Daily driver etc this truck will work for any diorama and garage very nice details on this truck I had an awesome time building it and definitely want to get more and build them in different ways PROS: No flash, Very accurate, Nice casting 10-10 stars for sure on this kit if you are thinking about getting this kit you should really consider it as it will look good in you diorama or garage and will also look like a part of what you are using it to do

I think this is one underrated model! Cons out of the way first - aging kit; skimpy on details; underside is problematic and undetailed; fitment issues, tires were all black (not pad printed white letters). Okay, that's out of the way. This kit would look good straight out of the box, but come on! This truck wants so much to get details. It is a bigger subject, so lots of room for improvement. The price is very reasonable. I came very close to tricking this one out and it could have easily been done. I recommend it.

This is a nice kit to build and displays well, but the mold is getting a bit old. The fit of the pieces is still good, however the parts do have a bit of flash that needs to be trimmed. I was surprised that the suspension is very strong. I expected it to be weak with the big tires. Everything stays in alignment very well. The reason I gave it an average review is that while it is still a good model, the molds are still decades old and not as sharp as the new ones from today.

bought this kit to make a lowrider truck, its hard to find truck kits, so i altered a 4x4 into a lowrider, then decided to rat it out, was a easy kit, just a lil flash, the instructions could of been better, con was it also comes with factory wheel but no tired other then the big tires, not much engine detail, but over all a good kit, i recommend you buying a few, raise one, lower one, go crazy, nice body lines,

Typical amt/mpc product. Unclear instructions and parts that need to be massaged to fit. With a little patience, you can produce something nice. Not a kit for a beginner. Nice tires and wheels and the glass goes in easy but there are also lots of fidgety pieces as well. It would be great if they updated the decal sheet with some dash gauges and fender badging. So, take your time and have fun.

Fantastic kit.Great tires,great detail.This is definitely a wanna get more of kits I added LEDS to mine for the headlights,brake lights and dashboard.I would definitely recommend this truck

some of the molds you can tell are definitely old and could be updated. But i still thoroughly enjoyed building and customizing this model.

I had fun with it just wish the rear wheels had a better fit would of made for a nicer finish

Latest release of a MPC favorite. Glad to see it back. Always made for a great build.

Pretty good kit, had a lot of suspension parts that didn't fit properly.

Kit seems have some defects in the body other then that not a bad kit.
