These are decals. They are water activated. I think I saw that they are discontinued. No wonder. Thank goodness for dry transfers. These are hard to position and work with. But worse--when you put a letter next to a previous letter, the water re-floats the first letter. What a nightmare. I bought them because they look great. I use them for car numbers by using three numbers together in one block (345, 789, etc.) They would also work where there is space between letters and one could not reactivate the previous one (L U C K Y M I N E). I will stick with dry transfers.
