Never worked right
Installed this 9 pin mobile decoder in a silent Athearn SD45-2. Had to set cv2 to 50 to get it to move and could not get it to run at a reasonable speed. Thought I'd reset to default and start over but it smoked itself when I did. Reinstalled the original board and luckily it still runs on DC. Problem is unresolved at present.
