Reviews : Osborn Utility Poles 8 pack (wooden kit)

This simple kit provides realistic detail to your layout. Wood poles do not bend like plastic poles when you string your utility wires. Actually, I wanted 2 arms on one side of the pole to match the area I was modeling. This kit was easy to adapt to my needs. The transformers in this kit appeared too big to me, so I did not use them. Still, I have several Osborne kits on my layout and find them to be easy to assemble and very realistic at a very low price.

This is the first time that I have dealt with Osborn kit, and have to say they were fun to build and there are made of real wood what more can you ask for, the cost is great you get enough material to build 8 poles and you have stuff for 2 transformers on the poles.

These poles are nice but can be tedious assembling. The transformers can be a real pain. Highly recommend gentle sanding of the poles to round them and to remove fuzz as well as the laser scorching.

Great product with realistic detail. Running lines that look realistic and consistent is difficult to say the least.

Give you very nice utility poles and if you don't want the transformers on there you can take them off
