Adds some historical realism to a game
As always Pegasus have produced some very high quality and detailed figures here. The detail is crisp and accurate, with no flash at all. They are also made of hard plastic that takes glue really well and the figures are very sturdy. They do require some minor assembly but all the pieces fit together just fine. The best part about these figures is the historical realism that they add to your collection. I always get wargamers asking me, are those sailors? A lot of people don't realize that the soviets converted most of their navy into ground troops. So Pegasus should be commended for creating a set like this that really heightens the historical aspect of gaming.
Excellent sculpting.
Excellent. Excellent product and sculpting from Pegasus. They really do make beautiful figures with great poses and sculpting. Only negative is the high gloss blue finish of the figures. WWII Russian wool uniforms would have been matte blue, not neon. As an adjunct to my WWII Soviet army, they are a welcome addition for both the Leningrad and Crimean fronts.
