Saving private ryan..
This set is right out of the opening beach scene of saving private ryan, with some of the most dramatic poses I've ever seen, Including figures being blown into the air by a grenade or mortar fire. This set is very much depicting a beach scene though, with a lot of men ducking for cover and being worked on by medics, so if you are looking for a lot of combat poses you might be a little let down. However, if you're building a beach diorama, there is clearly no other set that would depict this better. I used these figures to make up a squad of Rangers for D-day wargames, and I always get compliments on them. The only other thing I would mention is that these figures take a long time and a lot of patience to assemble, but once done it is worth the effort.
Excellent detail and outstanding value
Lots of casualties make for a sobering diorama scene. Now if only someone would make 1/72 LCAs to transport these Rangers for even more realism. As I build a D day diorama I will use more sets for casualties coming out of Landing craft.
d day
not very impressed. The soldiers are cool, but for some reason I was expecting more from this kit.
Good Figures
Very good figures just a little hard to get the small little details but still is good.
