Reviews : Pegasus T-Rex

I grew up fascinated by spaceships and dinosaurs. Apparently the folks at Pegasus did, too. This extremely detailed vinyl model should satisfy the most rabid dinosaur fanatic. I had a little trouble with joining the legs to the torso, so you might have to do some trimming for a good fit. A more serious problem is that all the parts are solid, so you'll have a fairly heavy model with a lousy center of gravity. Be prepared to screw the model into the base to keep T-Rex from tipping over. It might also be wise to screw the base into an appropriately cut section of MDF to further stabilize the assembly. I'd have given 5 stars but for this problem.

I have purchased 3 of these kits. The first two were great. The 3rd one not so much. The lower jaw was a different color than the rest of the kit. Which makes me think it was from a different mold. And it was too big. It wouldn't fit or line up with the upper head assembly. Would I recommend this kit? Yes & No. Hopefully the manufacturer is checking their quality control.
